The ‘Finally Finish Something’ Game Jam

We've decided to do something crazy and run our own game jam.  We're not sure if it's going to work out, or if anyone will even join, but you can find out more over at itch.io here.

We're using itch.io as it's a really great website for hosting indie games, and has some amazing tools for running game jams.  It handles most of the hard work for you, so with a little effort it's easy to put something together that looks pretty professional.  The basic idea of the jam is to help motivate devs to finish a long running project that's been hanging around for months (or even years).  To help with that goal, the rules will be very relaxed, to the point of being almost non-existent.  A full list of the rules will be over on the jam site.

To try and make the jam stand out a bit, James has been creating some geometric shapes, which represent putting things together to finish something.  Honestly I think James just made some cool shapes and then I projected meaning onto them, but let's pretend for a moment that we know what we're doing.  Here, look at the pretty shapes:
