Self Golf Released for Ludum Dare

I have just finished another Ludum Dare, and released Self Golf into the wild.  I was flying solo this time, so we're back to some good old fashioned developer graphics (complete with scan-line effect to help mask the horror).

The theme was "Combine Two Genres", and I feel like this was the best game jam idea I've had in a long time.  The genres I decided to combine were sports and platforming.  The idea started as a simple golf game but with some jumping elements, but then it occurred to me that it would extremely funny if you were both the player and the ball.  So in this game you are a happy little golf-ball person, and you have to smack yourself on the behind to get yourself into the hole.

I had a couple of fun moments creating sound effects, with the pinnace being recording myself clapping multiple times.  I layered them all over each other, and the result really sounds like a polite golf crowd (I was so happy with this).
